Remote Call Error

Hello,

I have a very weird issue I don't understand with Application Engine using a RemoteCall peoplecode function for generating document sequence number.
- When the commit action for the step before RemoteCall is set to "After Step", the remote call is successful.
- When the commit action for the step before RemoteCall is set to "Default", the remote call is in error : Think-time PeopleCode event (Think-time PeopleCode event (R) invoked from ScrollSelect is illegal.

I can't find what is the problem, how I can fix it and it's driving me crazy…
Application Engine impacted are AR_UPDATE / AR_DIRDEBIT, for Peoplesoft FSCM 8.1
