Count of Households

Greetings -
Please excuse the ignorance of a rank beginner -

I need to be able to produce a list of names (via emplid) of donors.
Easy enough unless the donor's spouse ALSO donated during the defined period.

Does anyone have an expression that will do something of the order of: constituent and constituent spouse both have hard credits during the defined time period select only the lowest emplid.
